HISTORY
 
 
The Camporomano estate, is the property of the noble Garzoni family of the nearby city of Lucca and is still inhabited by the family's descendents.
It is situated in the heart of one of Tuscany's most beautiful regions, the Lucchesía. Just inland from the famous seaside resort area known as the Versilia, the Camporomano estate has the magnificient Apuane Alps as backdrop and overlooks Lake Massaciuccoli (where the world famous Luccan composer Puccini once lived and composed many of his operas).
 
 
The estate comprises around 70 acres of olive groves and cultivated land. The main villa, which is the family's home, is surrounded by a number of restored villas whose construction is typical of a Tuscan arhitecture and every house is equippede with modern convenicences and available as lodgins : La Contessa, il Fienile, il Micciaro, il Pino...
At Camporomano guests may walk in the peaceful surrounding country side enjoyng the breathaking scenery, they can also visit the Frantoio (the olive mill) and the stables with cows and calves. At the farm you can buy the home-made products such as honey, olive oil oil and wine.
A washing machine and telephone/fax, and large parking area at the guest disposal.
